We crafted a deep dark intense imperial stout, full of chocolate and roasted malts, rested in Old Elk bourbon barrels for 16 months. When poured this beer gives off wonderful aromas of dark cherries, bourbon, caramel, wood, and chocolate. When you sip on this one, expect bittersweet chocolate powder, hints of roast coffee, molasses, a warming bourbon note, all rounded up with a hint of red wine tannins. At 10.5% this beer is smooth and gives you a wonderful warming sensation as it goes down.
