What started out as a crazy idea ended in a beautiful collaboration with friends and family.
On an early morning in Late September, we gathered around the Smoke Shack. Our house Munich and Pilsner Malt then spent the next 4 hours absorbing smoke over a slow smolder of Oak, Hickory, Cherry, and Applewood.
Three Days later our custom smoked malt was used in the making of Smoke Shack, a sweet yet smoky Rauchbier that pays tribute to the style’s origin in Bamberg, Germany.
