Brewed for Urban Artifact's Missing Linck Fest, this ale was made using 120 lbs. of honey in place of Belgian Candi Sugar. It was fermented initially with Missing Linck yeast, a yeast discovered in an underground wooden fermentation vessel that was discovered under Cincinnati. We finished it off using our house Trappist strain of Belgian yeast and added 23 lbs. of meadowfoam honey, which gives it a toasted/roasted marshmallow note. We will be putting this beer in our Mantra barrel for the next release of Mantra.
